The team at Cross Country Films have just completed the filming of there new film based in Derbyshire. Following a 30 mile circular walk from Buxton, the route takes our two presenters though some of the most striking and dramatic countryside in the Peak District. The weather proved to be a little troublesome at times as we battled a short snow storm on Axe Edge and some strong winds on the Roaches. We investigated large caves and hidden churches and discovered discovered some amazing fossils including sharks teet. We also met up with some interesting characters from the area including our very own Bush Craft expert (more about that another time!).
We hope to have the finished DVD ready for sale in June and we promise to keep you informed of it's progress.
